The Zambia Development Agency was in Gaborone, Botswana at the US – Africa Business Summit to market Zambia’s trade and investment opportunities.
During the Summit, Zambia was given an opportunity to speak to potential investors and captains of industry in a dedicated session dubbed ‘Invest in Zambia.’
The Invest in Zambia session was preceded by a keynote speech from the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Chipoka Mulenga followed by a presentation by the Director General of the Zambia Development Agency Albert Halwampa.
Mr. Halwampa made a presentation on investment opportunities and why Zambia should be a destination of choice for investors.
Finally, there was an interactive question and answer session with the delegates to clarify any queries and re-emphasize the fact that Zambia is the best destination for investment.
The US – Africa Business Forum was organized by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) in partnership with the Government of Botswana. The objective of the summit was to enable participants to connect with government and private sector decision makers.
The Business Summit took place from July 11-14, 2023 in Gaborone, Botswana.
