Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development
The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) is responsible for promoting and facilitating the development and growth of local enterprises especially the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country, in order to create wealth, employment and to accelerate industrialisation and economic diversification.
ZDA has the duty to facilitate provision of Business Development Services (BDS) including:
- MSME Competitiveness and Business Development Services through business clinics and product development.
- MSME Training, Coaching and Mentoring through Incubation and business acceleration.
- MSME Access to Markets through joint ventures (JVs), partnerships and chain store market linkages.
- MSME Access to Finance through bankable business plans, grants and proposal preparation.
