ZDA, ZDM Confer

The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and Zambia Daily Mail held a meeting to promote and enhance information sharing on investments and trade for the benefit of the people of Zambia.

ZDA Director General Albert Halwampa said there is a lot that happens at the ZDA regarding investment, trade and business development that must be shared with the public.

“ZDA is meeting with investors almost on a daily basis and the people should know what is happening. The President is unlocking capital for the country which should be implemented for the people.” Mr. Halwampa said.

He observed that ZDA and ZDM could work together to ensure that people are informed about investment so that they participate in economic growth through partnerships and supply to contribute to Gross Domestic Product.

He was however quick to point out that Zambia Daily Mail has been one of the Agency’s key partners that has actively worked to ensure investment news is shared with the people particularly with regard to wealth and job creation.

And Zambia Daily Mail Acting Managing Director Simate Simate said he was encouraged by the visit by senior ZDA management team which he said would pave way for a more structured working relationship that will bring more information to the people on how they can participate in national development.

He encouraged ZDA to utilize the many publicity platforms provided by both the ZDM and Times of Zambia newspaper, which can be done in joint collaboration between the two organisations.

The courtesy call ended with a guided tour of ZDM services and a simulation of the printing Press.
